Participants this year include:

Speaking of Wildlife

Speaking of Wildlife is an Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (OMNRF) licensed and Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA) inspected Wildlife Education Centre that gives permanent homes to non-releasable Ontario Wildlife. Many of our animal residents have been orphaned, abandoned, injured or illegally kept as pets and were unable to live in the wild as they should. They will live out the rest of their lives at Speaking of Wildlife, travelling across the province (and sometimes beyond) to teach audiences about the animals that we share our environment with.

Wild Ontario

Wild Ontario is a live-animal, environmental education program based at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario. This year, they are bringing their feathered friends including owls, falcons, ospreys, and other birds of prey.

Scales Nature Park

Scales is focused on the conservation of reptiles, amphibians, and fish, and the habitats that these animals require. Find out how to make your cottage more amphibian friendly and learn more about the team’s conservation efforts for a diversity group of reptiles, amphibians and fish.

Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary

A non-for-profit wildlife rescue and rehab organization located in Muskoka who are joining us to help educate cottagers on coexisting with Wildlife, with a particular focus on beavers.
